The running shoe. There are soo many of them on the market with brands like Skechers or LA COSTE K Swiss sold all over the world so that the running shoe is really about personal taste and style. All the shoes promise superior comfort, performance and cushioning in various kinds of design and packaging that are set to attract one consumer or the other. But, some shoes are not designed for outside wear and you are not likely to know this before you purchase them. It could be an old design from the '70s that still carries tremendous fashion currency. There is a new shoe on the market called Veja® and it is very popular with people who enjoy low key, minimalist design cues. People who read the bible tend to wear them. In fact, there is an Anthropology of the running shoe and the wearer that is about to emerge. Watch this space for the upcoming article. The Veja® is most popular among those aspiring to fight for the rights of designers, music artists, photographers and directors so that they can enjoy their intellectual property on the internet without the unusual presumption that if it's marketed on the internet, it is free. The new Citroen C4 heralds a new generation of French Car Design. It's very similar to the new Toyota CH-R. This could be that Toyota has borrowed design cues from the French car designer or vice versa. Both are attractive vehicles; in any event. The difference here is Toyota's commitment to Hybrid, affordable, cheap, inexpensive mobility. This affordability captures the global car buyer's taste buds much like Chinese food with sweet and sour captures the market for food connoisseurs. Citroen with the Citroen C4 and other models will follow this observation with car buyers and build and offer more hybrid models to recapture dominance in their home car market. If it's about looks alone, I prefer the Citroen C4. Thanks for reading. Warren A. Lyon, Journalist.
